“Soccer is a game for 22 people that run around, play the ball, and one referee who makes a slew of mistakes, and in the end Germany always wins.” Now who can contradict such a legend? Germany is a hot favourite just like in any EURO so far while Portugese side had their share of problems in qualifiers and friendlies before the tournament started. Last time they met was in 2008 in Euro QF when Germany won 3:2. Not that it matters much but Germany looks rock solid despite the fiasco against Swiss just a few days ahead of Euro (lost 3:5). Portugal played 3 games in 2012 and haven’t won any of them. Teams biggest problem is scoring goals and they don’t look likely to improve than part of their game against Germany
