Euro2012 Q: Croatia – Georgia (2:1 LOST)

Croatia was stunned by Georgia in their last qualifying match when this small football side deserved a 1:0 win in Tbilisi after 90 minutes of hard defense and one swift counter attack. Croatia is now in a must win situation as group is surprisingly very even with 4 teams still able to progress. Match will be played in Split after 14 years of exile which guarantees frantic crown known for their excellent supporting. Croatia will miss Kranjčar (Tottenham), Rakitić (Sevilla), Olić (Bayern) while Georgia has to do without 1st keeper (very important) and the goalscorer from their 1st encounter.

I expect Georgia goal to be under siege from 1st minute and at least 2 goals in their net. Hosts will field extremely offensive formation with Eduardo/Jelavić/Mandžukić and offensive midfielders Perišić (B. Dortmund) and Modrić (Tottenham). Croatia won’t allow another surprise in these qualifiers.
