Osijek in for a tumble

Osijek opened their season against swedish side Kalmar in Europa League qualifiers and lost 1:3 on home ground. Kalmar scored 3 goals from 3 chances showing vast problems in Osijek’s defensive line which will pose a big problem ahead of a difficult away game against Zadar.

Zadar is relegation material but this category extends to at least 7 teams in the league currently and Osijek could easily end up in it as well. Given the advantage Zadar usually has at home we have to give it a shot here. Note, Osijek didn’t win in Zadar for 8 years now..

Hosts miss important striker Terkeš while Osijek will have to do without Šorša and Pušić.

Verdict: Take Zadar -0,5 1,96 5/10 with Pinnacle Sports
